Most high-power LEDs are used in outdoor environments, so the thermal interface material selected must meet the performance of heat conduction, heat dissipation, insulation and waterproof.

The LED lamp bead module usually dissipates heat in a natural way. From the perspective of the heat dissipation path, the heat generated by the lamp bead is first transmitted to the aluminum substrate through the welding layer, and then conducted to the radiator through the thermal conductive silicone grease, and then the heat is dissipated through air convection. Therefore, the role of thermal grease is also very important, it is the key to reduce the contact thermal resistance between the aluminum substrate and the heat sink. In addition to thermal grease, other thermal interface materials include: thermal silicone sheet, thermal double-sided adhesive tape, thermal insulation sheet, etc. are suitable for high-power LED cooling solutions.
